I grew up in Maine and attended college in Boston, MA. I graduated from Simmons College in 1985 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. I practiced in the Boston area, and in southern New Hampshire, for 13 years before attending Northwestern University’s Orthotics program.
I graduated from Northwestern (NUPOC) in 1999. I completed my residency at New England Brace Company in Manchester NH, and remained there for 12 years.
I moved to NC in 2011 and worked in the Cary area. I am very excited to join Biotech’s Kids’ Care division.
I love working with pediatrics because children are so resilient and positive. They want to move, and do not let their diagnosis get in the way. I find it exciting to be part of the team that helps them meet their movement goals. I feel we achieve the best outcomes when we collaborate with the family and the therapist; ideally, in the child’s environment.
I share my home and large yard with my spouse and our pets Buddy and Chester. I enjoy puppy play dates in our yard, golfing, the beach and reading.
