Hospitals/Rehabs in Durham/Henderson
I was born in Panama City, Florida on Tyndall Air Force Base, but grew up in the Chicago area, where my parents were from originally. I moved to North Carolina in August of 2012 after 7 years in Tucson, Arizona. I’ve been in healthcare since I was 16 years old, first volunteering in a physical therapy department and then as an Athletic Trainer and therapy assistant.
I have enjoyed working with patients since the first day I entered the hospital as a teenage volunteer in my home town I love the fact that each person that I work with is unique in personality and their concerns. I learned a long time ago to treat the person, not the condition. I also enjoy the challenges of treating individuals and determining their needs and best course of action. I enjoy making a difference in peoples’ lives… seeing them achieve goals that they didn’t think were possible.
Most of my free time is spent with my wife and two children. I enjoy outdoor sports activities, especially hiking and fishing, though I haven’t done much of either since moving to the Triangle two years ago.
