I graduated from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland BSc Orthotics & Prosthetics in 1990 and moved to Northern Ireland, where community care & pediatric orthotics quickly became my focus. In 1994 I moved to Bostion, where I continued to focus on pediatrics & worked for two companies before settling with NEOPS for 11 yrs. In 2008 I finally moved to North Carolina, where I continued providing pediatric care.
I'm excited to join the Bio-Tech team, adding pediatric orthotics to the list of services provided, serving the community, and providing pediatric care in all 3 of our locations.
I'm passionate about bringing care to those who need it, as part of a team of healthcare professionals, thinking outside the box to determine the best possible device for each child, integrating myself in the lives of children as they learn to live with and overcome challenges. I Iive with my husband of 18 yrs & our 3 dogs, volunteer at a wildlife conservation facility, www.conservatorscenter.org, and I am an amateur photographer. My work be be seen at www.hmdphoto.biz.
